Live coding is AI-free by default, but some engineering roles get a designated AI-assisted round. Where that round exists, AI is allowed and expected, and you are scored on how you leverage it; candidates are told in advance. Take-homes permit AI for research but the submitted work must be yours and you should expect to defend it live. Misuse or non-disclosure can disqualify.
