Splits the signal: a paid SuperDay project with AI allowed, and a separate 45-minute debugging round where it is not. After two or three short interviews with no live coding, the final stage is a paid SuperDay ($1,000). The main project is built from scratch with AI allowed, and the candidate defends the architecture. The 45-minute pairing session on an unfamiliar codebase permits Google but no AI beyond basic autocomplete.
